WHAT DO I DO NEXT ...

I want tickets but am not sure when I want to go?
I want tickets but want to look at all suppliers?

Use either of the Offers or Tickets tabs. These will tell you WHO has tickets and provide you with links directly to the correct event on those suppliers' websites.

Some suppliers will have provided us with the dates for which they have tickets (updated daily) so you can see what's available directly, for oters we simply provide a link to the right page on their site - you can then see exactly what is available live.

I want tickets but think that there may not be many left?

Gosh, the event is selling out ... why waste time hunting down tickets in Google when we can already either search for you or link you directly to suppliers (we check what they have daily). Please note, we ONLY link to LEGITIMATE and safe suppliers.

Is there a Deal?

Meal and Hotel delas can be a great way of saving money on a night out ...

Are your suppliers legitimate?

We only link to legitimate suppliers. STAR members (members of the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers) have a very good reputation and comply with a formal standard for care and customer response - you are safest with these. Official (or Primary) suppliers deal with stock provided directly by the show (venue, show, producer) and will be reliable. Resellers deal with fan-to-fan reselling and some primary tickets, we only list resellers that can provide a strong customer support charter.

What if none of your suppliers have tickets?

It's always worth calling the Box Office at the theate - though many of these are now run by one of the bigger ticket suppliers anyway.

What about eBay?

We do not link to eBay for tickets, nor any supplier who does not provide appropriate guarantees and safety (and can back them up!). Caveat Emptor.

The Habit of Art

Buy
Benjamin Britten, sailing uncomfortably close to the wind with his new opera, Death in Venice, seeks advice from his former collaborator and friend, W H Auden. During this imagined meeting, their first for twenty-five years, they are observed and interrupted by, amongst others, their future biographer and a young man from the local bus station. Alan Bennett’s new play is as much about the theatre as it is about poetry or music. It looks at the unsettling desires of two difficult men, and at the ethics of biography. It reflects on growing old, on creativity and inspiration, and on persisting when all passion’s spent: ultimately, on the habit of art. Running time: 2hrs 35mins inclu. interval.
