Our clients include some of the biggest and most successful performing arts websites and ticket agents in the UK. SeatChoice is a registered trade name.

Our ticket comparison service, offering direct and live comparison of both price and availability from multiple suppliers, was launched in January 2007 on the UK Theatre Web and Web-BoxOffice websites. Prior to that we provided simple links directly to multiple suppliers for shows across the UK. The SeatChoice brand was launched in May 2008.

STAR was formed in 1997 and is the leading self-regulatory body for the entertainment ticketing industry across the United Kingdom, with many of the biggest names in ticketing as members. STAR members include major UK ticket agencies as well as numerous venues and box offices in London and across the country. There are also associate members in other industries (such as travel) where entertainment ticketing forms part of their business and affiliate members who do not sell tickets directly to the public but support STAR's work. In 2011, STAR relaunched itself with a new kite mark, revised terms and a greatly expanded membership.
