Digital Theatre+ and The Stage launch Theatre Lives
Adrian Lester, Juliet Stevenson, Michael Grandage, Julie Walters and Imelda Staunton feature in first series of Theatre Lives.
The series explores the enduring allure of theatre and features a candid and entertaining 40-60-minute 1:1 conversation with each artist, discussing their careers and offering an accurate, relevant and stimulating insight into a life in theatre, passing on their expertise to future generations.
Theatre Lives launches on September 29 with Adrian Lester. Interviews with new guests will be presented every two weeks and released on www.thestage.co.uk
Theatre Lives guests are in conversation with Fiona Lindsay, arts broadcaster and creative producer for Digital Theatre+. They take place in a studio setting at the Lyric Hammersmith where interviewees reveal the influences, motivation and challenges that they’ve experienced during their life in theatre.
Each film will be premiered on The Stage Website and will then be made permanently available on Digital Theatre+ once the series is complete.
