Enterprising Local Band
Off to see Fame at the Bristol Hippodrome last night we parked as usual in Trenchard Car Park … on the way out was a tall man in a cowboy hat handing out CDs. Free CDs.
“We’re on at Colston Hall later this year and no one knows who we are” he said “its country music”. So I took the CD, thanked him and went on my way to what was not a particularly enthralling evening of theatre.
In the office today, I listened to the CD .. not a sampler as I thought but 12 excellent tracks well worth the listen .. in fact, you could o worse than buy a ticket. I think they’re a local band and they certainly deserve a decent audience!
