I kniow, it seems ridiculously early to be talking panto but seasons come and seasons go and panto earns the money! If you went to a big panto last year you will probably have seen this year’s panto advertised in the programme but there are still surprises to be had during the year.

One thing that gets me is the growth of Easter and Summer pantos – cashing in on the family outings during the other school holiday periods and now we have an announcement of “The World’s Biggest Panto”! Mind you, that’s a bit like American Football World Champions, I mean, the UK is really the only country to play the panto game so UK’s biggest  is likely, by default, to be the World’s biggest. However, let’s not be churlish, this one sounds like fun!

Mel B, Paddy McGuiness, Rylan and Vincent & Flavia head the cast of this massive Snow White and the event will be shown in Wembley and at the NEC ..

And if that wasn’t enough, panto is set to return to the London Palladium after a break of almost 30 years with Britney Spears appearing in Cinderella.
