The Eddies 2016

The Drayton Arms Theatre showcases new and emerging companies and artists allowing them to stage their work in a supportive and cost effective environment. This year they are reaching out to help three such companies by giving them a free Edinburgh transfer to their popular South London venue.

The Drayton Arms Theatre  are giving away their 50 seat zone 1 theatre for free, a technician for free, front of house staff for free and posters plus 5,000 flyers printed for free! In addition, thanks to their sponsors, the lucky winners will also get rehearsal space in London, flyers distributed and no booking fees to pay on ticket sales (credit card fees still apply), meaning all box office ticket sales will go straight back to the companies and on a three week run that could amount to over £3,500.

Shows will be rated on writing, acting, production, suitability for our theatre’s demographic, suitability for a studio theatre, originality and diversity. Shows must be new for 2016.

Applications are open and must be in by 12:00 on Monday 15th August. Shows will be assessed and nominated for an award between Saturday 6th and Friday 19th August and the results will be announced at a special Drayton Arms Theatre networking night on Monday 4th September at 8pm.
