Theatre and Technology Awards 2017
Recognising outstanding achievements and innovation using technology as means to further suspend audiences’ belief in theatre – Hosted by actor and presenter Paul Lavers and held at The Bush Theatre.
Theatre publications and productions of all shapes and sizes were among the finalists from The Barbican in north east London, to the Wee Review in Edinburgh, from the witty quirkiness of theatre bloggers and podcasters across the internet to the established high-flyer, The National Theatre in their ambitious NT Live broadcasts that beam out across the UK – all had work shortlisted for these uniquely coveted awards. The only awards to reward theatre creatives for their extraordinary achievements with technology to push the boundaries of innovation and imagination in the magical realms of theatre in pursuit of the best audience experience.
